Researching the impact of early access to high quality defence representation
With generous support from the US Department of State, and in partnership with the International Legal Foundation, JI Global is conducting a research project at one of the busiest courts in East Africa. Our team of well-trained legal professionals are providing access to high-quality representation at first appearance in a randomised controlled study developed by Harvard University’s Access to Justice Lab. The results will be published in 2025.
